Romanian senators visit Chisinau

Chisinau, Oct 11 /MOLDPRES/- A delegation of the Romanian Senate Foreign Policy Committee will visit Chisinau on October 13-15.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the delegation will be led by commission head, senator Titus Corlățean. The delegation will also include commission vice-chairman Ion Marcel Vela and members Cristian Bordei, Ion Prioteasa and Alfred-Laurențiu-Antonio Mihai.
The Romanian lawmakers are scheduled to meet with speaker Igor Grosu, foreign policy and European integration committee head Ina Coșeru and deputy prime minister Mihail Popșoi.
The talks will focus on the progress made by the Republic of Moldova on the European path, as well as on cooperation opportunities with Romania to harmonizing the national legislation with EU provisions and advancing in the negotiations with the European Union.
