Chisinau, Oct 30 /MOLDPRES/- Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) candidate for the post of head of state Maia Sandu today conveyed a message to citizens who sell their vote. "These thieves who give you money for your votes, trample on your dignity, want to control you, steal your freedom," Maia Sandu said.
"I don't know if this message will reach those who sell their vote, but I would like you to hear me because I want you to live in a better country, because I want your children to live in joy and peace at home. These thieves who give you money for votes, trample on your dignity, want to control you, steal your freedom, just as the big evil steals souls so they not only buy votes, but steal your faith and your destiny," said Maia Sandu.
The PAS candidate urged citizens not to sell their vote.
Moldova will hold the runoff on November 3. Current President Maia Sandu, who won 42.49% or 656,852 votes in the first round, and Socialist candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo, who won 25.95%, 401,215 votes will battle for the post of head of state.
