Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued travel alert to Israel

Chisinau, April 15 /MOLDPRES/- Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) today issued a travel alert to Israel.


"In connection with the escalating security situation in the Middle East, the MAE issues a travel warning, given the unstable security situation in Israel. Thus, the authorities recommend Moldovan citizens to avoid travelling to this country. Security and stability in the area may be affected indefinitely," the institution said.

In this context, the authorities advise people to follow carefully the news and information provided by the authorities, including the MAE and the diplomatic representation in Tel Aviv. The sources can provide updates on the situation in the area and possible additional security measures.

"The ministry encourages citizens to be responsible, cautious, put personal safety first, follow instructions, rules imposed by the authorities and avoid exposure to undue risks. At the same time, citizens are advised to maintain contact with the Israeli embassy," an official statement from the MAE said.
