Moldovan president participates in National Culture Forum

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today participated in the National Culture Forum, along with writers, actors, musicians, architects, film directors, literary critics, librarians, independent artists, editors, curators, choreographers, fine artists, culture journalists. They are part of the generations which stayed on the barricades of the National Revival, as well as the new generations, who put Moldova on the creative map of the world, the presidential press service has reported.
„Together, the work of all artists who created here in our country is our collective memory. All plays staged, all prose works written and the poetry, the art exhibitions, the cinematography or our architectural heritage – all these educated us, define our values and model our character,’’ the head of state stressed.
President Maia Sandu expressed gratitude to the culture people. ‘’Greetings to all those who make culture, including in villages, where it is not easy,’’ the Moldovan president said.
At the same time, the head of state also said that the things had changed where courage and initiative was proved. ‘’Wherever you are, in Soroca, Sangerei or Cimislia, you have a great role – the creation, around the community centres, of an important attraction pole, the creation of a community and a community which has creative concerns is a strong and sound community. Dear artists and guards of culture, through what you do, you inspire us and give us a part of your soul and we are grateful to you for this. Continue to create surprising things, which move, provoke and raise us,’’ the head of state added.
