Moldovan PM visits gymnasium from Edinet district village

Chisinau, 15 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today paid a visit to the gymnasium from the Lopatnic village, northern Edinet district. Due to the European Village programme, the institution was renovated and endowed with modern equipment. The government allocated 2.2 million lei for the implementation of this project, the government’s communication department has reported.
Also, through the Express European Village programme, the folklore band Flori de dor from this settlement benefited from new national costumes, the total value of which is over 100,000 lei.
„Our plan for Moldova is clear: development of the villages and cities and ensuring better conditions of living for the citizens. To carry it out, the European Village programme will continue with an allocation of 1.8 billion lei for 612 projects on modernization all over the country,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.
Thirty four projects on settlements’ modernization have been implemented in the Edinet district in the last years. Among them, there is the building of a multifunctional centre, as well as the rehabilitation of the water system in the Edinet city.
