Moldovan PM visits factory resident of Edinet-based industrial park

Chisinau, 15 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has visited the TB Fruit factory – resident of the Edinet industrial park, which hosts 14 businesses and supports entrepreneurs in the development of the regional economy, the government’s communication departed reported.
With a team of 150 employees, TB Fruit annually produces 25 tons of apple juice concentrate, by using 150,000 tons of apples bought locally.
The company has been part of a Ukrainian group which invests in Moldova since 2015. The entire volume of juice produced by TB Fruit is exported exclusively to the European Union market. Two thermal stations working on solid biofuel were set at the factory, which is endowed with modern equipment. At the same time, the company uses waste to generate alternative energy, in order to cut the production costs.
PM Dorin Recean stressed that the government would continue backing the entrepreneurs motivated to develop the businesses in Moldova. At the same time, he emphasized numerous benefits enjoyed by those who rule to invest in Moldova.
„TB Fruit is an example about how a business can flourish, by turning to good account the investment opportunities provided by Moldova and contributing to the development of the local community,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
