ARBOM wins mini-football tournament OPEN PRESS CUP 2024 Boris Harcenco

Chisinau, Oct 22 /MOLDPRES/- The team of the Association for Development of Bulgarian Community in Moldova /ARBOM/ has won the fifth edition of the mini-football tournament OPEN PRESS CUP 2024 Boris Harcenco. In the final of the competition, which took place in the arena of the Football Federation of Moldova in the park "La Izvor" in Chisinau, ARBOM won 3-1 against the team representing the Moldovan Sports Press Association. ARBOM participated in this tournament for the first time.
"It was quite a difficult tournament because many good teams participated. We worked hard to get this trophy. You saw the final result," said Demian Tiuliuliuc, one of the members of the ARBOM team.
"We are grateful to the organizers and partners for the opportunity to participate in this tournament. Right from the very first participation we managed to win the trophy - it's an amazing feeling", added another player of the team, Ivan Rusu, at the end of the award ceremony.
ARBOM team captain Ian Iacovenco was nominated the best player of the tournament.
Tatiana Bahova, who is a member of the ARBOM Board, also congratulated them on their outstanding debut at the Press Cup.
The sensational performance of the ARBOM team was also appreciated by the President of the Moldovan Sports Press Association, Eduard Ciobanu, the organizer of this mini football competition, as well as other participants.
"I am glad to see teams representing other organizations, not only media organizations, at this tournament. I would like to mention the ARBOM team, which, in addition to its contribution to society, this association was also able to stand out here by its successful performance", said Alexandru Fosa, journalist of Jurnal TV.
Attending the event were eight teams representing media organizations of the country, as well as APSM partners.
