Moldovan electoral body sanctions more political parties for non-submission of financial reports

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has taken note of the reports and information on the financing of the electoral campaign of the participants in the referendum held on 20 October 2024, at the situation from 14 October 2024, according to a CEC’s press release.
CEC imposed a sanction in form of warning to the REVIVAL Political Party and repeatedly demanded that the political formation submit the corrected report on the financing of the electoral campaign till 25 October 2024, 17:00.
Sanctions in form of warning were imposed the HOME National Reunification Party, and Democracy at Home Political Party for the non-submission of the information on the opening or non-opening of the account titled, Electoral Fund.
The PEOPLE’S WILL Political Party was warned for the late submission of the report on financial management.
CEC imposed a sanction in form of warning to the Party of Communists of Moldova. CEC found out that the political formation had used financial means without preliminarily declaring them at the Commission in the way established.
