PHOTO Pedestrian area in Riscani rehabilitated, greened with Poland's support

Chisinau, Nov 14 /MOLDPRES/- Riscani city is modernizing its appearance and protecting the environment through a pedestrian area rehabilitation project, carried out in cooperation with the local environmental inspectors. It is co-financed by the Government of Poland through Polish Aid and the Urban Communities Fund, 2023-2024 and implemented by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova together with the locality city hall.

The project aims to restore two pedestrian bridges crossing Copaceanca River, improving access and safety of residents.

Environmental inspectors from Riscani supported the execution of the works, ensuring that environmental protection rules are respected throughout the whole process.

The project is an example of best practice in urban regeneration, emphasizing community health and protection of natural resources.
