"The project to extend the sewerage system in Drochia is an important step in improving the quality of life of the inhabitants. This initiative not only ensures access to more efficient sanitation services, but also contributes to the protection of public health as well as to environmental conservation. In addition, it will stimulate the community's civic involvement in environmental issues. I would like to note that this project is also a positive example of local and central authorities working together to develop their communities," the Mayor added.

For this purpose, the Government, through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development has allocated 4.8 million lei.

ONDRL data reveal that through the European Village and European Village Express programs, 25 local development projects have been carried out in Drochia district, with a total value of about 61 million lei, with direct beneficiaries being about 34 thousand people.
