Polish Minister of Development and Technology visits Chisinau

Chisinau, Nov. 18 /MOLDPRES/- Polish Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk is visiting Chisinau today. A Memorandum on cooperation in the energy efficiency of buildings will be signed.

The document will be signed between the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Chisinau announced that the agreement aims to support Moldova in energy transformation by using Polish experience, legislative solutions and business models, which could be of benefit to Moldova on its way to EU integration. The cooperation will also help set up new business contacts between enterprises from both countries, the source said.

Meetings are planned with representatives of the Moldovan government administration, including Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Victor Parlicov, Minister of Energy.

Paszyk's visit is accompanied by a business mission of Polish entrepreneurs in the energy, machinery, infrastructure, construction and other sectors. The ministers will participate in a Polish-Moldovan business forum organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Invest Moldova and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Chisinau in cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova.
