The new cabinet members today were sworn in office at a ceremony in the presence of President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The head of state said she was fully confident that ‘’the new members of the government will manage to carry out important actions for the citizens.’’

PM Dorin Recean announced the changes to the governmental team on 18 November evening. The decision was set forth following more consultations. After the runoff presidential elections, PM Dorin Recean said that he would come up with proposals of changes in policies and in the cabinet, as ‘’the citizens who voted quite clearly said that we must make certain changes.’’
