Chisinau, Nov 20 /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet members received today a copy of the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, printed by MOLDPRES.
The publication includes all the amendments on the country's European integration, approved by the October 20, 2024 republican constitutional referendum, as well as those on the declaration of Romanian as the official state language.
The new edition of the Constitution was distributed to the cabinet members ahead of today's meeting.
"We all have the new Constitution, where European integration is already part of the supreme law. We must continue to build European conditions and the European Union at home," Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
MOLDPRES State News Agency has printed a new edition of the Moldovan Constitution. Thus, the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova has been published in Romanian and a bilingual edition - Romanian/Russian.
The Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, amended by referendum, was also published last week in the Official Journal. Integration into the European Union has thus become a strategic objective for the country.
