Moldova's citizens staying in United Kingdom to enjoy higher degree of protection, security

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s citizens who stay in the United Kingdom will benefit from a higher degree of protection and security, due to a new Agreement on the readmission of people who are in state of illegal stay.   

To this end, the government approved a draft decision for the starting of negotiations and the signing of an Agreement, which will provide quick and efficient procedures for the identification and return, in safety conditions, of the people who do not meet the conditions of entry and stay on the territory of the two states.   

„The up-to-dateness of this Treaty is prompted by the need to boost the bilateral cooperation relations in the field of readmission of people who are in state of illegal stay,’’ Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin said at the cabinet meeting.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean stressed that another important aspect of this draft was that the degree of protection and security of Moldovans who stay in the United Kingdom would be enhanced.   

The approach completes the foreign policies promoted for advantageous partnerships for citizens.
