Moldovan parliament's standing bureau approves agenda of plenary meetings for 21-29 November

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - The standing bureau today approved the agenda of the parliament’s plenary meetings for the period 21-29 November.  

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the MPs are to consider four draft laws concerning EU. It is about the acts which facilitate the access of local entrepreneurs to foreign capital markets, concessions of works and services, additional implementation of the Recommendations of the International Financial Task Forces and the environment liability as regards the prevention and repair of the damages inflicted to the environment.      

The agenda also includes amendments to the Law on the state budget for 2024, the Law on state social insurances budget and the Law on the mandatory health insurances accounts for this year. Also, the parliament will ratify the agreements on grant with the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the energy optimization of the public buildings and modernization of the waste management infrastructure in more settlements of Moldova.  

The agenda of the plenary meetings also includes a draft on the special protection of children against the movement abroad or illicit detaining, as well as amendments to the Customs Code, Contravention Code, the Law on the cadaster of real estate and the Law on social inclusion of the people with disabilities. The lawmakers will also discuss the reports by the Court of Accounts on the management and use of public financial resources and of the public heritage for the 2022 and 2023 years, as well as the annual reports of the Court of Accounts for the period 2022-2023.   

The parliament will hold a plenary meeting on 21 November at 11:00.
