Former MP Ilan Shor fails to declare wealth of over 10 million lei

Chisinau, Nov 25 /MOLDPRES/- The National Integrity Authority (ANI) has issued today a finding on the name of former Moldovan MP Ilan Shor. He was found in violation of the legal regime of the declaration of assets and personal interests.
According to ANI, it was identified a significant difference between the wealth acquired, income obtained and expenses incurred by him and members of his family totaling 4,381,084 lei, as well as the unjustified nature of the possession of the wealth for August 1, 2016 - November 2, 2022.
Integrity inspector will forward the case to the court for consideration with a view to ordering the confiscation of the unjustified wealth in the amount of the difference found.
The person subject to the control will be disqualified from holding public office or public dignity, including the office of deputy and mayor, for a period of three years, and will be entered in the State Register of persons barred from holding certain offices.
