Moldovan, Israeli officials approach current situation

Chisinau, Nov. 26 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi and Gideon Sa'ar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel discussed by phone developments in the Middle East and the terrorist attack in the United Arab Emirates that led to the murder of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, a citizen of Moldova and Israel.
"We condemn the terrorist attack that led to the death of Rabbi Kogan, an act of exceptional gravity, which cannot be tolerated under any circumstances," Mihai Popșoi said.
Gideon Sa'ar thanked for the country's solidarity and cooperation in dealing with the tragic situation. The Israeli counterpart emphasized "the importance of international collaboration in combating terrorism and promoting a stable security environment for all citizens, regardless of nationality".
The officials also discussed the progress made in the bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and Israel and explored the possibilities of deepening them.
