Moldovan government announces Library Under Christmas Tree campaign

Chisinau, Dec 3. /MOLDPRES/- Government announces the launch of the third edition of the Library under Christmas Tree campaign. On December 3-20, books will be collected under the Christmas tree in the government, which will reach children all over the country.

According to the government's communication department, the campaign is open to all those who wish to contribute to the promotion of reading - both public institutions and companies, as well as private people. Books can be brought every day between 12:00 and 17:00 at the government.

The books collected this year will be distributed to children's foster care centers and hospitals in the country that have set up spaces dedicated to little readers.

Last year, over 5,500 books were collected as part of the Library under the Christmas tree campaign and distributed to over 50 school libraries.
