Chisinau, Dec. 4. /MOLDPRES/- Râșcani health center is the beneficiary of the ultrasound equipment development program funded by the government of Japan. Its finalization was marked yesterday by an event with the participation of Japanese Ambassador to Moldova Yamada Yoichiro.
The ultrasound equipment development program for Riscani Health Center is financed by the Government of Japan under Kusanone project. The grant worth 45,901 dollars was used for the purchase of ultrasound equipment, contributing to early detection and proper treatment of diseases.
The project has helped to improve the center's health services and ensure that patients in the area have easy access to the healthcare they need.
The Japanese Ambassador thanked the medical workers "for their selfless, tireless work for society". "The Republic of Moldova is surrounded and supported by friends. Recently you have chosen your future wisely. I see that the Russian government and its agents are still trying to bring this country back into its orbit. Japan will continue to support your efforts as you move forward," said Yamada Yoichiro.
Kusanone Human Security Grant Program was launched in the Republic of Moldova in 2008. To date, Japan has provided grants totaling 7.6 million dollars for 92 projects in the education, health and public utilities.
