Moldova's Supreme Council of Magistracy approves application on resignation by judge of Comrat Court of Appeal

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) today approved the application on the resignation of magistrate Stefan Starciuc from the Comrat Court of Appeal and postponed the consideration of the application by judge Alexei Panis on the submission of a repeated proposal to Moldova’s President on his appointment to office.

At a today’s meeting, the CSM members ruled to resume the procedure of external evaluation of a candidate for the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, Grigore Manoli.

Also today, CSM ruled to postpone the examination of the report by the Commission for external evaluation of a candidate for the office of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, Vladimir Adam.
