Cooperation between districts, municipalities, central authorities - key to Moldova's economic development - infrastructure minister says

Chisinau, Dec. 19 /MOLDPRES/-Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIDR) Vladimir Bolea met yesterday with district heads, emphasizing the need for a common vision for regional development and strengthening cooperation between local authorities of the second level and central authorities.

The meeting reviewed plans and priorities in the ministry's areas of intervention and discussed ways in which districts and municipalities can work more closely together to create new economic opportunities, improve infrastructure and better interconnect public services. The minister reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to support these efforts through development projects that meet the real needs of communities across the country.

The minister also noted that this meeting is aimed at establishing an institutional dialog between authorities. 

The district heads thanked for the opportunity to discuss openly on the MIDR platform, emphasizing the need for regular meetings, including on the platforms of the Regional Development Agencies, to discuss in more detail the current situation of the localities.
