Resignations at environment ministry, labor ministry

Chisinau, Dec. 30 /MOLDPRES/- Irina Punga has resigned as deputy secretary-general of the Environment Ministry. Her resignation was accepted today by the government.

Also today, the executive approved the resignation of Corina Ajder from the post of state secretary at the Labor and Social Protection Ministry.

"I thank my colleague Corina Ajder for the hard work. Together we managed to modernize the legal framework. Corina was the initiator of the reform at the State Labor Inspectorate, which is yielding quite good results. For the last two years she has been coordinating the compensation program, which is so necessary for citizens," said Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu.

Corina Ajder has held the post of state secretary at the labor ministry since 2022, while Irina Punga was appointed deputy secretary general of the environment ministry in November 2023.
