Chisinau, 30 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Cahul Court will have a new headquarters. The ground on which the building will be constructed was transmitted from the property of the Cahul city to the state’s property. A draft to this end was approved by the cabinet today.
Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru said that the current building of the Cahul Court was in a lamentable state and the ground adjacent was insufficient for the construction of a new headquarters. ‘’Thus, after more discussions and negotiations between the Agency of Management of Law Courts, Superior Council of Magistracy and the local public authorities, a compromise was reached, in order to solve the problem of identifying the space,’’ the minister said.
The justice minister also said that the allocation of the new ground would contribute to the modernization of the judicial infrastructure through the construction of the Cahul Justice Palace, which will provide modern conditions for the work of the judges and court’s staff and will improve the access to justice of the citizens from the region.
The new headquarters will be placed on the I. Neculce 6 Street from the Cahul city.
