Prime Minister: In 2024, we have achieved a lot despite all challenges. Let us look to 2025 with optimism and solidarity

Chisinau, Dec 31 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean said that the Republic of Moldova has achieved important achievements in 2024, despite all the challenges it faced. The official added that the agenda for 2025 will focus on our country's development program negotiated with the European Union.

Among the achievements of 2024 are the opening of negotiations on accession to the European Union, the holding of the republican constitutional referendum, the election of the head of state and the negotiation of Moldova's Development Program.

"Finally, I would like to note that this year, I mean 2024, despite all the challenges, we have had many, border war in Ukraine, hybrid war here at home, drought, heat, other problems we have had, we have nevertheless had some very important achievements, we have opened negotiations, we have held the referendum, we have elected a leader who has the ability to put the country at peace, security, and we have started to have this dialogue with the EU, to negotiate the development program of the Republic of Moldova. This will be the agenda for 2025, no matter what and how many other challenges we will have. I wish you a happy New Year. Let us look to 2025 with great optimism and solidarity", said Recean.

The cabinet of ministers met on 30 December in the last cabinet meeting of this year.
