Foreign affairs minister of Finland expected on visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 8 January /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs Minister of Finland Elina Valtonen on 9 January will pay an official visit to Moldova, in her capacity of OSCE chairwoman-in-office.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the agenda of the Finnish official’s visit will include meetings with her Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popsoi, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian.
The discussions will be focused on the OSCE’s role in the consolidation of the country’s resilience and stability, the Transnistrian conflict’s settlement process, including in the context of Moldova’s European integration way, as well as regional security aspects. The sides will also discuss priorities on the bilateral agenda and ways of boosting the Moldovan-Finnish dialogue.
Also, Deputy PM Mihai Popsoi and Foreign Affairs Minister of Finland Elina Valtonen will give a news conference starting from 11:20.
