Three air pistols detected at Leuseni customs post of Moldova in luggage of 25-year-old man

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/ - Employees of the Leuseni customs post have detected three air pistols along the luggage of a 25-year-old man, who chose to hide the weapons from the customs control.

The pistols were found following a control in a touring car moving to Romania. The driver and his passenger said they were carrying only material assets.

Following a detailed physical control of the transport means, three air pistols were detected among the personal luggage, which were not declared to the customs authorities. The assets proved to be of the passenger – a man with dual citizenship (Moldova/Romania), aged 25 years.

The air pistols were raised and are liable to special confiscation and the investigations on this case continue.
