Chisinau, Jan 10 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovagaz group's distribution system operators have submitted to the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) the documents providing for the connection of several localities in the Security Zone to the natural gas distribution network managed by the group's enterprises.

The documents submitted by Moldovagaz to ANRE provide for changes in the Investment Program for 2025, as well as in the Network Development Plan.

The initiative concerns the localities connected to the networks belonging to Tiraspoltransgaz. The project provides for the construction of about 63.9 km of high-pressure gas distribution networks, as well as two underwater crossings of the Dniester River.

The works are to be carried out in the villages of Fârlădeni, Hagimus, Copanca, Hîrbovăț, Pohrebea, Coșnița, Pîrîta, Doroțcaia, Molovata Nouă, Varnița, Cocieri, Vasilievca, Corjova and Roghi, where there are about 12 thousand gas consumers.

At the first stage, design works, including geodetic and hydrological works, are planned, after which the final budget will be drawn up.

Last week, the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) approved measures needed to ensure the continuity and reliability of electricity and gas supply to consumers in several localities in the security zone, which are under the control of the constitutional authorities but are connected to the energy infrastructure of enterprises on the left bank of the Dniester.

Thus, the village of Varnița, Anenii Noi district, and the village of Copanca, Causeni district, which are currently technologically connected to the electricity grids on the left bank of the Dniester, will be connected to the electricity distribution networks of Premier Energy Distribution.
