Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has approved the changes of the plans on development and investments of the operators of the distribution systems from the group of the Moldovagaz stock company and of the state capital enterprise, Premier Energy Distribution stock company. The changes were necessary, given the connection of the settlements from the Security Zone to the electric energy and natural gas networks from the right bank of Dniester, in line with the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE).

„The decision’s goal is to ensure the continuity and reliability of the supply with natural gas and electric energy in the settlements placed in the Security Zone and on the right bank of Dniester, through the development of the critical infrastructure needed,’’ ANRE said.

The modifications approved see the extension of the networks of natural gas through the construction of about 64 km of natural gas distribution networks, including two underwater crossings of the Dniester river. This will allow connecting 14 settlements to the system, where there are 11,879 consumers. The concerned settlements are Farladeni, Hagimus, Copanca, Harbovat, Pohrebea, Cosnita, Parata, Dorotcaia, Molovata Noua, Varnita, Cocieri, Vasilievca, Corjova and Roghi.

As for the critical infrastructure, the changes see the development of 9 km of medium-tension networks, in order to ensure the supply of 3,688 consumers from the Varnita and Copanca villages; creation of a underground line of 4.8 km and of an overhead power line of 3.1 km to Varnita, as well as the extension by 1 km of the overhead power lines to Copanca; setting of a connection transformer 10/6 kV, in order to enhance the reliability of the supply with electric energy. The beneficiaries of these actions are 15 public institutions and 123 economic agents from the concerned settlements.

ANRE noted that the works would start with the phase of designing, geodesy and hydrology and construction and connections works are to begin subsequently.

The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) last week approved a string of measures needed, in order ensure the continuity and reliability of the supply with electric energy and natural gas of the consumers from more settlements of the Security Zone, which are controlled by the constitutional authorities, but are connected to the energy infrastructure of the enterprises on the left bank of Dniester.

Thus, the Varnita village, Anenii Noi district, and the Copanca village, Causeni district, which are presently technologically connected to the electricity networks from the left bank of Dniester, will be connected to the power distribution networks of the state capital enterprise, Premier Energy Distribution stock company.

At the same time, the villages Pohrebea, Cosnita, Parata, Dorotcaia, Molovata Noua, Roghi, Cocieri, Corjova and Vasilievca from the Dubasari district, the villages Harbovat and Varnita, Anenii Noi district, the villages of Farladeni, Hagimus and Copanca, Causeni district, will be connected to the natural gas networks of the licenced distribution operators of the group Moldovagaz stock company.
