Moldovan, Croatian PMs hold dialogue on bilateral partnership, Moldova's European integration way

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean on 27 September had a meeting with PM of Croatia Andrej Plenković. The officials discussed the consolidation of the bilateral relations between the two states and Croatia’s support for Moldova’s European integration way, the government’s communication department has reported.
PM Dorin Recean appreciated Croatia’s backing and informed about the progress made in the reforms’ implementation. The Moldovan prime minister also highlighted the importance of Croatia’s experience in the European integration process and put emphasis on the essential changes carried out by the Croatian state during those 11 years of European Union membership.
At the same time, the leaders discussed the economic cooperation between the two countries, with emphasis on the attraction of investments and extension of commerce. Presently, Moldovan wines, alcoholic beverages, fruits are sold in the biggest retail chains from Croatia and in 2023 the volume of trade between the two states grew by about 20 per cent against the year before.
