Moldovan government organizes job fair; over 150 vacant jobs proposed

Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ - Opportunities of employment and carrying out the probation in the public sector will be presented at a job fair, due to be organized at the government’s headquarters on 10 October. Visitors are expected to come to the hall of the government during 10:00-16:00. Over 150 vacant positions will be made available at the fair, in 35 public authorities and public institutions – the State Chancellery, ministries and agencies subordinated to the government.     

According to the government’s communication department, there are possibilities of employment both in leadership public positions and in execution ones, in various sectors: economy, justice, information technologies, communication, social protection, human resources, etc. Visitors will be able to learn information on the specific features of the vacant offices, procedure of employment, as well as the advantages of the work in the public sector.     

„People willing to be members of the team which edifies the European Moldova are urged to access the website, www.cariere.gov.md, where all vacant positions and details about the basic tasks, the conditions of participation in the contest, salary and way of submitting the documents are published,’’ the government said.       

The programme of paid probations in public service, meant for young people with ages between 18 and 29 years, will be unveiled at the event. Ninety three probation places are available in 27 public authorities. The young probationers will receive a monthly scholarship of 3,000 lei and subsequently they will be able to be employed without contest. The files will be submitted through the website www.stagii.gov.md and the registration will be opened till 15 October 2024.     

The first issue of the job fair was organized by the government in January 2014. About 500 people participated in it and 200 vacant jobs were proposed.
