Innovative new system launched in Moldova to enable farmers to cut livestock losses by up to 70%

Chisinau, Oct 9 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova will have a digital system UNIFORM AGRI. Implemented at the didactic farm of the Faculty of Agricultural, Forestry and Environmental Sciences of the Technical University of Moldova, the innovative system offers farmers the possibility to reduce losses in livestock farms by up to 70%.

The system was presented late last week, during a seminar organized on the Agrotek Arena platform, with the support of the Future Technologies Project and international partners USAID, UKaid and Swedish Government.

Attending the event were officials, students, academics and business representatives.

The presentation included a practical demonstration of the system's functionality, providing insight into the technological benefits it brings to livestock farm management.

"UNIFORM AGRI system represents an advanced automation solution, significantly contributing to the efficiency of livestock activities and modernization of the agricultural sector in the Republic of Moldova," says Iurie Scripnic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.

The event reiterated the government's efforts to modernize the agro-industrial sector and underlined the importance of integrating advanced technologies in agriculture to enhance the competitiveness of the livestock sector and support the sustainable development of Moldovan farms.
