European Parliament's deputy speaker gives public lecture at State University of Moldova

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - The opportunities provided by the European Union, as well as the advantages of Moldova’s European integration represented the reference points of a public lecture titled, Moldova’s European integration – defining element for the common security and well-being, given by European Parliament Deputy Speaker Victor Negrescu today.     

At the event, students of the faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences put diverse questions to the official on the negotiations with EU, social challenges, Romania’s experience in its European integration, etc.   

European Parliament Deputy Speaker Victor Negrescu spoke to students about the opportunities provided by the European Union to young people, as well as the economic and social advantages from which Moldova would benefit following the accession to EU. 

Victor Negrescu urged the young people to get involved, to make them heard and believe in the European future of Moldova.

Also, European Parliament Deputy Speaker Victor Negrescu had a meeting with Rector of the Moldovan State University Igor Sarov.
