Thirty situations concerning electoral corruption reported at 112 Service in Moldova in October

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - Thirty situations of electoral corruption have been recorded at the 112 Service since early October, especially cases of bribing voters.   

A specialist in public relations at the 112 national single emergency Service, Ana Carpovici, said that frauds and irregularities regarding the electoral process were daily reported at the 112 emergency phone number.  

According to the quoted source, the information is registered and transmitted to the police. Since the beginning of October till present, 112 Service operators have registered 30 situations dealing with electoral corruption, especially cases of bribing voters.  

The authorities urge the citizens to call 112 or inform the specialized institutions, if they learn about acts of claiming, acceptance or reception by an elector of assets or advantages in any form, on the purpose of exercising or non-exercising of electoral rights.
