One polling station from Canada, three ones from United States start work

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - One polling station from Canada and three ones from the United States started working at 17:00.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), the Moldovans from the USA will be able exercise their right to vote at 17 polling stations and seven polling stations were opened for the Moldovan voters from Canada.

At the same time, the Central Electoral Commission informed that in Tokyo, Japan, the voting process had ended already. Sixty nine electors voted there. At 16:00, the voting process ended in China, where 73 people voted. The other polling stations from abroad are in full swing of work.

A number of 228 polling stations were opened in 37 countries for the republican constitutional referendum and the presidential elections held today. More than 7.3 million ballot papers were printed in all, of which 1.7 million were distributed to the polling stations from abroad.
