Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has commented on actions by certain judges, who would establish court sessions on files of Alexandr Stoianoglo during the electoral campaign for the runoff of the presidential elections. The Moldovan president stressed that ‘’these sessions must be made after the 3 November ballot.’’
„I am perplexed that certain judges establish court sessions on Stoianoglo’s files during the campaign. If the real goal of the judges is to do justice and not the victimization of a candidate, these court sessions must be made after the 3 November polls,’’ Maia Sandu said.
The Chisinau Court of Appeal established a court session with the participation of Alexandr Stoianoglo before the runoff of the presidential elections. The court announced the session for 30 November, at 12:00.
The former prosecutor general, Alexandr Stoianoglo, participates in the presidential elections as electoral contender against current President Maia Sandu. They will fight in the runoff election, due on 3 November.
