Passengers to be able to fly to new destination of Poland from Chisinau International Airport

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau International Airport completes the schedule of flights with a new one to the Katowice city of Poland.
Thus, starting from 1 June 2025, the Wizz Air Company will make a new flight Chisinau-Katowice on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry (MIDR) has made statements to this effect.
Also today, the low-cost air company Wizz Air informed about the launch of direct daily flights from the Chisinau International Airport to the Otopeni Airport from Bucharest as of 30 March 2025.
The decisions come, after in last mid-October, Wizz Air informed that it reopened the operation base in Moldova and that it would launch new routes from the Chisinau International Airport to more cities of Europe.
On the last period, more air companies have informed that they would make flights from the Chisinau International Airport; thus, the list of destinations to which Moldovan passengers can travel was completed.
