Moldovan authorities come up with details about drones noticed in northern Moldova

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan authorities have informed that Russia’s today morning  massive attack with drones and missiles against Ukraine was monitored and they came up with details about the drones noticed by residents from north Moldova. The competent structures say that no falls of eventual flying objects were recorded.     

According to a press release issued by the authorities, explosions were reported in the regions neighbouring with Moldova today morning by Border Police patrols from Valea Perjei, Tudora, Crocmaz and Olanesti.

At the same time, in the Larga Segment, northern Briceni district, a missile was noticed on the Ukrainian side and a resident of the Groznita village, Briceni district, said that he had seen two flying apparatus resembling drones at a height of about 100 metres and they disappeared from sight when flying above the villages of Rotunda and Halahora de Sus.  

According to the quoted source, the flying apparatus are launched deliberately, in order not to be able to be detected by Defence Ministry’s radars. At the same time, no falls of eventual flying objects were recorded on the territory of Moldova.  

In the context, the authorities urge the residents to prove calm and if they notice suspect flying apparatus, call the 112 phone number.
