Over 300 local wines to be appreciated at Wine of Moldova contest

Chisinau, Nov 21 /MOLDPRES/- The third edition of Wine of Moldova contest, which will take place on November 21 and 22, will gather 27 foreign and local experts, who will assess the quality of local wines based on the rigorous standards set by the International Organization of Vine and Wine. The evaluations of the more than 300 wines entered in the competition will cover both the organoleptic aspects and technical characteristics of the wine products presented.

Among the international specialists present at the event are personalities with vast experience in the field of oenology from Romania, the Netherlands, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland and Great Britain.

The competition focuses on promoting wines produced from local varieties such as Feteasca Albă, Feteasca Regală, Rara Neagră and Feteasca Neagră, as well as Moldovan selection varieties such as Viorica, Floricica, Legenda, Alb de Onițcani and Riton.

The winners will be announced at the Winners' Gala on November 22.
