France's Minister Delegate for European Affairs in talks with USM students

Chisinau, Nov 23 /MOLDPRES/- French Minister Delegate for European Affairs Benjamin Haddad visited Moldova State University, and met with officials from the institution's management and had a discussion with students of French-speaking programs.
During the meeting with the students, the European official presented to them the actions and visions regarding the development of French-speaking programs and talked about the European path of Moldova.
Rector Igor Sarov welcomed the constant support of European and French institutions for the development of French university programs through various projects in which our students participate and which add value to their professional training.
The event was also attended by Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, E. S., Dominique Waag, French Ambassador to Chisinau, Eugen Vizir, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, Claudia Vișan, representative of BN AUF Moldova, MEPs and EU experts.
The event was organized by the Embassy of France, AUF Moldova, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the French-speaking Law Section of the USM.
Benjamin Haddad is today paying an official visit to the Republic of Moldova at the invitation of Gherasimov. The French official also met Head of State Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The talks focused on intensifying cooperation with France and the country's constant support for Moldova's European integration process.
