Moldovagaz company warns about attack with fake news about invoiced sums

Chisinau, 25 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovagaz stock company today warned consumers about an attempt of a fishing-type attack.    

According to the enterprise, in the last days, more Moldovagaz consumers received on their emails electronic letters allegedly on behalf of the enterprise, containing fake information about invoiced sums, as well as an active payment link. ‘’By making a click on the link, the consumer is redirected to a fake Internet email, where he/she is asked to introduce his/her banking data (attached picture),’’ Moldovagaz explains.    

The administration of the Moldovagaz stock company urges the consumers not to undertake such actions in any way, for reasons that they can lead to theft of money by swindlers from consumers’ accounts. The effective bills are shipped by the company as attached graphic picture and do not contain active links.    

Thus, the consumers are asked to check the issuing email; in this case, these messages came from the email: sxcxczew@elkalsioalzxczs.quantum-werbetechnik.de. At the same time, the messages from Moldovagaz come only to emails with the name of domain @moldovagaz.md, or @mgaz.md

The corporate security service of the Moldovagaz stock company assures that it would contact law-enforcement bodies with a proper addressing.
