National Library of Moldova launches topic-related exhibition, Christmas in Europe - Holiday which United Us

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Library of Moldova (BNRM) organizes a topic related exhibition titled, Christmas in Europe – Holiday which Unites Us, staged till 15 January 2025, in the context of the winter holidays, as well as of the promotion of European values through reading.

The exhibition displays over 200 books dedicated to the magic of Christmas, from which people interested will learn the history of the appearance and spread of this holiday, curiosities and superstitions from different countries, carols, poems and songs, interesting culinary recipes for the Christmas cuisine, unusual decorations for the Christmas tree, illustrations and postcards.

The documents are systematized in ten compartments.
